Does Wanepass charge attendees?
On paid tickets, Wanepass charges a platform fee of 3.5% per ticket (no fixed fee). The organizer is the seller and merchant of record: ticket buyers pay the organizer’s Stripe account. The organizer chooses whether the Wanepass 3.5% is added at checkout or absorbed into the ticket price. Stripe, our payment processor, charges a credit card fee (typically 2.9% + 30 cents) — that fee is deducted from the organizer’s payout, not from Wanepass, and is not added to the buyer total unless the organizer prices it in. Free and RSVP tickets have no platform fee. Details: Understanding fees and payouts and Pricing.
Can guests pay in their local currency?
No. You choose the charge currency when you set ticket prices. Guests pay that currency and amount. Wanepass does not convert based on the event location or the guest’s location. Details: Choosing your currency.
How long do refunds take?
After an organizer approves a card refund, banks usually post it within 5–10 business days.
Which countries are supported?
Wanepass is available where our payment partners operate. Contact support@wanepass.com if you host events outside major markets.
Can I transfer my ticket to a friend?
Yes. From My Tickets, choose Transfer, enter their email, and confirm. They accept from the email link we send. While it is pending you can Cancel transfer, which invalidates that link. Checked-in tickets cannot be transferred. After they accept, the pass, QR, and join link move to their My Tickets. You keep the receipt with a Transferred stub and cannot open the pass again. Details: Transferring a ticket.
Do you support Apple Wallet or Google Wallet?
Not yet. Open your QR code from My Tickets or your PDF confirmation.
Is there a mobile app?
Use Wanepass in your mobile browser — pages are optimized for phones, including check-in scanning for organizers.
How do I contact the organizer?
Use the contact link on the event page or reply to your order confirmation email.
Can I host on Zoom or Google Meet?
Yes. Connect Zoom or Google on your account under Preferences → Connected apps (not organization settings). On a Virtual or Hybrid event, open Location and create a meeting, pick an existing one, or paste a join link. Visitors see Join Zoom / Join Google Meet on the event page only if you make the link public. Ticket holders open the event from Open pass or Join via Wanepass on the confirmation, the email, and My Tickets. Those messages do not include the raw Zoom or Meet URL. Details: Zoom and Google Meet.
How do I offer a discount without a code?
On Tickets → Promotions, add a Discount (percent or fixed amount). The public event page shows the sale price with the original price struck through. Buyers do not enter a code. Details: Automatic event discounts.
How do promo codes and hidden tickets work?
On Tickets → Promotions, add a Promo code (percent, fixed amount, or access only) and an optional usage limit. An access code unlocks Hidden tiers such as VVIP. Share a link with ?promo= or have the buyer enter the code at checkout — it is checked when the ticket is held and when the order is placed. The summary shows the discount. Details: Promo codes and access codes and Using a promo code at checkout.
Why do emails say “via Wanepass”?
Organizer messages (tickets, reminders, RSVP, feedback) use the display name {Organization} - via Wanepass. Account emails such as verify and password reset still come from Wanepass.
How do I turn on dark mode?
Open Preferences and choose Dark, Light, or System. Details: Managing language, theme, and email alerts.
How do organizers collect feedback?
