When you set a ticket price, you choose which currency to charge in. That is the currency guests pay — Wanepass does not automatically convert based on the event location or the guest’s location.
For example, if you host in Toronto and price tickets at $50 CAD, every guest pays $50 CAD, wherever they are. If you price at $50 USD, every guest pays $50 USD.
Search the list by code (CAD, EUR, XAF) or name. On the Tickets step (Principal) the list only includes currencies your connected payment methods can charge. Payment methods for this ticket works the same way: card appears when Stripe is ready, mobile money when a PawaPay payout number is verified. Buyers only see the methods you turn on for that ticket. Card currencies come from Stripe. Mobile money only lists the wallet currency of a verified PawaPay payout country. If Stripe has not confirmed chargeability for your account yet, the card list stays the presentment catalog. See Setting up ticket types.

What guests pay
Guests are charged the amount and currency you set. There is no silent FX at checkout.
How the price is displayed can still follow the viewer’s language (for example “€50” vs “50 €”). The currency and amount stay what you chose.
Organization default
Your organization’s default currency is the starting point for new events. You can still pick a different charge currency on each event when you set ticket prices.
Cards (Stripe)
Card checkout still needs Stripe presentment support on your connected account. When Stripe reports which currencies that account can charge, those are the only card currencies in the picker. If that report is missing, the presentment list stays visible and Stripe may still reject a currency at publish or checkout.
Mobile money (MoMo)
MoMo sales must use the wallet currency of a verified payout country. Wanepass does not convert. If the event is in CAD but your PawaPay number is in XAF, MoMo cannot collect that sale until the currencies match.
