3.5% platform fee on paid tickets. You are the seller. Free and RSVP tickets stay free. You choose whether buyers see the Wanepass fee at checkout or you absorb it. Stripe card-processing fees also apply on your payout.

The Wanepass platform fee is 3.5% of the ticket price (no fixed per-ticket amount). The same 3.5% applies in other currencies. Stripe, our payment processor, charges a credit card fee (typically 2.9% + 30 cents). The platform fee is on top of the Stripe fee.

Stripe, our payment processor, charges a credit card fee (typically 2.9% + 30 cents). The platform fee is on top of the Stripe fee. Ticket buyers pay your Stripe account. To net $X you must price above X (3.5% + Stripe). Free and RSVP tickets have a $0 platform fee.
Example: a $10 ticket
Figures in CAD. 3.5% of $10 = $0.35. The buyer-pays toggle only adds the Wanepass 3.5% at checkout — it does not add Stripe. Stripe is always deducted from the organizer’s payout.
Buyer pays the fee
Event listings show the total the buyer pays ($10.35). Stripe processing is still deducted from your payout — the buyer total does not include Stripe.

You sell through your Stripe account
Paid card sales use Stripe Connect Standard. You connect your Stripe account and use the full Stripe Dashboard. Ticket buyers pay you — you are the seller and merchant of record. Wanepass is the platform and collects a 3.5% application fee. Complete Stripe identity verification (KYC) before you can sell paid tickets. Payouts follow Stripe’s schedule on your account.
Stripe processing fees
Stripe, our payment processor, charges a credit card fee (typically 2.9% + 30 cents). That rate is set by Stripe, not Wanepass, and can vary. Stripe’s fee is deducted from your payout, not from Wanepass. It is separate from the Wanepass 3.5% platform fee.
