You can transfer a confirmed ticket from My Tickets. Unpaid or abandoned checkouts are not tickets and cannot be transferred. A ticket that is already checked in cannot be transferred.
Send a ticket
- Open My Tickets.
- Find the event and tap Transfer, or expand the group and choose one ticket.
- Enter the recipient’s email and confirm.
We email them a claim link. The ticket shows Transfer pending until they accept. The link expires in 7 days.

Cancel a pending transfer
While the ticket says Transfer pending, choose Cancel transfer. That invalidates the claim link. If the recipient opens it afterward, the page says the transfer was cancelled. The ticket stays with you and can be transferred again.
After check-in
Check-in blocks transfer. The ticket shows This ticket is checked in and can’t be transferred. If it was checked in after a transfer was sent, the recipient cannot claim it either.
After they accept
Accepting moves ownership to the recipient.
- Their My Tickets gets the live pass: the QR code and, for an online event, Open pass or Join via Wanepass.
- You keep the purchase in your order history and the receipt. The ticket is a Transferred stub. It does not open the pass, the join link, or another transfer.
- The QR code and join token from before the transfer stop working. Only the new holder’s pass is valid.
Accept a ticket
The recipient opens the link in the transfer email, signs in with that email, and taps Accept ticket. The ticket then appears under their My Tickets.
If the email has not arrived, the sender can cancel and send it again.
